If you are looking for help with depression, grief, anxiety, trauma or relationship issues, therapy may be beneficial. Dr. Jones has been a therapist since 1997 and uses a strengths-based, person-centered approach while practicing Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapy, meditation, introspective and optional faith-based approaches for individual adults or couples. She is certified in EMDR, Gottman Level I, Prepare-Enrich Facilitation, mindfulness and grief counseling. She utilizes Prepare-Enrich assessments and Gottman interventions for couples therapy. She is trained in Christian integrative approaches for those who would like to have faith be a part of the process and believes redemption from psychological distress is possible for everyone. She believes that compassion and hope are the essential elements for creating an environment in every session in which change can occur, and resiliency and recovery can flourish.
All appointments are via telehealth. In the US, Dr. Jones is licensed in MA, NH, CT, RI and TX; therefore, US clients need to be located in one of these states at the time of services.

Educational Background
Dr. Jones graduated with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA in 1997. She graduated with a Doctorate in Community Care and Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Counseling in 2019. She completed a 2-year program to be a Spiritual Director and is also a professional Life Coach. She is an adjunct professor at Regent University teaching in the Counseling Ministries department that houses two Masters and a PhD program. She has conducted and published clinical research utilizing Christian Accommodated Mindfulness to treat depression, anxiety and shame. She speaks at professional counseling conferences to advance this research and the field of Christian Counseling. Dr. Jones has a passion for continual growth and brings more than 30 years of learning to the counseling space.
